SIAM NISSAN AUTOMOBILE TO CHANGE COMPANY NAME TO NISSAN MOTOR (THAILAND)
Bangkok, Thailand– March 19, 2009—Siam Nissan Automobile Co., Ltd. (SNA), today announced its company’s name change to Nissan Motor Thailand Co.,Ltd.
The name change represents the company’s unified approach to enhance the Nissan brand identity in Thailand. The new company name will take effect on April 21, 2009.
“Under the new company name, we will accelerate our efforts to serve our customers in Thailand by offering quality products and services,” said Toru Hasegawa, president of SNA.
We have no plan to change the current share holding ratio by NML (75%).
