Long-term targets for CO2 reduction

To counter global warming, CO² emissions for new vehicles need to be reduced by 90% in 2050 compared with levels in 2000. Therefore internal combustion engine fuel efficiency must improve and there must be greater use of electric-powered vehicles. Nissan is working toward these goals.
